Apparently we've been eating Toblerones wrong this whole time

We interrupt your daily proceedings to bring you some news which may alarm you.

It turns out we've all been eating Toblerone chocolate bars wrong, and it's rocked us to the very core.

Yup, while we're typically finding ourselves yanking the nougat triangles from their Swiss chocolate base, it turns out theres an easier way to break your piece of Toblerone from the pack.

The hack was shared on YouTube by user Kaitlin Crawford and received over 4 million views from bewildered Toblerone fans.

The clip, which has recently regained attention, sees somebody pull their Toblerone triangle off with ease, rather than just trying to yank it outwards until it breaks.

The trick is to instead simply tap the triangle inwards, then it should come apart.

Literally tapping the tip of the triangle against the triangle on its right hand side should do the trick.

Reacting to the video, it's safe to say that we weren't the only ones who learnt something new.

"AFTER WATCHING THIS, MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!," said one person in the comments.

Whilst another wrote: "This is the most educational video I have ever watched."

For all those genuinely impressed at the hack, there were others who were slightly less impressed.

One sarcastically remarked: "Holy sh*t, it tastes way better when you break it the right way?"

As another joked: "How I've always done it. And without a YouTube guide. Harvard here I come!!!"

Personally, we just like to take a big fat bite out of our Toblerone.... but each to their own!
