3 Ingredient Nutella Cake

You only need 3 ingredients to make this delicious fudgy chocolate hazelnut cake!

Ingredients

    Cake:
  • 600gchocolate hazelnut spread
  • 4eggs, room temperature
  • 160gplain flour
  • To serve:
  • 175gunsalted butter, softened
  • 175gicing sugar
  • 350gnutella
  • Crushed hazelnuts (optional)

You can stop at the cake, or make a simple 3 ingredient buttercream to go on top!

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 160 C. Start by beating together the eggs and Nutella with an electric whisk. Once combined, sift over the flour and fold in.
  • Pour into a lined 22cm cake tin and spread out. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool.
  • Meanwhile, beat together the icing sugar and softened butter. Add the Nutella, and beat again. If it's looking too thick, you can add a splash of milk.
  • Spread over the cooled cake, and top with crushed hazelnuts (optional). Enjoy!
