Spicy Pineapple Slushy Margarita

Possibly the drink of the summer? Scotch bonnet pineapple slushy margaritas - so easy, so delicious, perfect for these hot summer days we’re finally having.

Ingredients

  • 1pineapple, diced
  • 50mltequila
  • 30mllime juice
  • 25mlagave
  • 25mlorange liqueur
  • 1/4scotch bonnet
  • Salt and chilli, for the rim
  • Lime wedges

This slushy is made from frozen pineapple, no ice cubes here! This means the drink doesn't get too watered down as it melts, which is ideal for a hot day!

Method

  • Freeze the diced pineapple for 2 hours. 
  • When frozen, add to a blender with tequila, lime, agave, and scotch bonnet. Blend until smooth. You may need to add more pineapple/ice to adjust the slushy texture.
  • Rim a glass with lime, and coat the edge in salt and chilli. Pour in the slushy, and garnish with a pineapple leaf. Enjoy!
